The short version: If you're just adding a link, or making a proofreading change, it's ok to just do it without including your username or anything. If you're posting an opinion or comment under a header designated specifically for user comments, you can also do that anonymously, though we'd certainly appreciate a sig line (see below). If you post something in a context where it might be confused with something I wrote, however, please do set it apart from the main text and include some kind of sig line.

A sig line can be your username (e.g. Woozle), your initials, your first name, your location (Somewheresville, NC), or any combination (e.g. Fred S., Somewheresville, NC). To make an automatic sig line with the current time and your username, press the next-to-last button at the top of the edit box (the one that looks like part of someone's signature.).
