As you may know, VBZwiki has been going slow recently. We are about to fix this, but editing pages must be disabled temporaily to complete this delicate operation.

In the mean time, there are plenty of other tasks that need to be done. There is a huge backlog of cleanup to do on the French VBZwiki, and there is many controversial topics involving Spanish, German, and Italian-speaking people who want their issues heard on VBZwiki. Have fun and be patient while we fix things.

Zion Rootswear is a maker of licensed t-shirts and other products. They are based in Florida.

Contact Information

Their web site is currently down as of 2007-04-12 (and reportedly has been so for several weeks), so here is some contact information from the Spring/Summer 2007 Catalog:

  • Address: 465 Tresca Road / Jacksonville, FL 32225
  • Phone: 904-425-4411
  • Fax: 904-425-4433
  • Orders:
    • Phone: 877-262-7539
    • Email: ordersspam@spamzionrootswearspam.spamcom (remove the repeated word "spam" from the address if you copy/paste it)

Product Lines

Their core line is licensed Bob Marley images; they also have carried Jimi Hendrix for many years, and recently added several others including Janis Joplin, Johnny Cash, and Marvin Gaye. They appear to have dropped their wholesale web site sometime during 2006 (possibly late 2005) and their main web site, zionrootswear.com, now appears identical to their retail site, The Marley Store; it carries a number of items not available on wholesale terms, including music CDs.

Images

ZR stopped providing high-resolution images for online retailers in 2003. Images available on their web site are of sufficient resolution to be used as thumbnails, but for higher resolutions we have had to scan their catalog or buy samples to photograph. I am currently behind in processing the 2005 images, including photos taken of some of the new Johnny Cash shirts.
